Yoga has become part of my life since last 3-4 years, though I had heard about it for many years.
For me Yoga is a way of life. Yoga is to come close to yourself.
Every day we get up in morning, we carry out our routine function, we do our duty, and we sleep at night. All the days are just part of a routine & life just go on & on without any charm because there is no meaning, there is no learning, no understanding.
If some thing upsets us, every time it'll upset us. If some thing excites us or makes us anxious, every time with a similar situation, we'll be excited / anxious. There is no learning out of any phenomenon of life. There is no charm in living the life.
But Yoga brings the charm back to our life. Because every thing we do, Yoga put a meaning to that. It gives insight to what are we doing, why are we doing that. There is much more learning & understanding of life, we live. Every day we learn some thing from our setbacks of life instead of getting upset or affected by that. Thus every day becomes a different day, a meaningful day, a wiser day.
I am thankful to yoga for making me flexible enough to learn out of my life experiences instead of putting grudge to that. I am thankful to Yoga for bringing me close to myself, for making my life full of charm & grace.
